All models are compatible with the NMRA DCC standards and Recommended Practices and are manufactured in Durango, Colorado. They include SoundTraxx' Hyperdrive™ Motion Control System, which is found in all Tsunami Digital Sound Decoders and incorporates advanced motor control features such as High Resolution Speed Steps and High Frequency PWM Drive (Pulse-Width-Modulation) to help to eliminate motor 'hum'. Hyperdrive also includes such features as Back-EMF control, programmable speed curves, and adjustable momentum.

The following are all four-function motor decoders which will operate in both DC and DCC. Each of the four function outputs can be independently set to any of SoundTraxx’s 14 different Hyperlight lighting effects. All versions feature SoundTraxx' Hyperlight™ lighting effects. The model MC2H104AT (P.N. 852002) is an Atlas-style plug and play. The MC2H104OP has a removable JST to 8-pin harness and the MC2H104P9 is a universal-style decoder with a removable 9-pin JST.
