Micro-Trains - Z Scale - 40' Box Car - Single Door - w/o Roof Walk - Great Northern (GN) # 11160 - green with white lettering - (Jan 2011) (SKU 489-50300102)

  These 40’ box cars with single doors and no roofwalks are painted green with white ‘Rocky’ and ‘GREAT NORTHERN’ heralds and white lettering. They were built in March 1948 by Pressed Steel Car Co., serviced in December 1968, and run on Bettendorf trucks. Built as part of series 10900-011374, they were originally painted mineral red. Both of these cars were later painted glacier green and lettered in the modern post-1967 gothic lettering style.
