     Canadian National has never owned any Dash 840-C (C40-8) locomotives until their recent acquisiton from BNSF. The trailing unit on train #E251 is currently the only former BNSF C40-8W currently in service on CN’s roster. The other Dash 840-C (C40-8)'s will enter service as they are worked on and re-painted. This unit is making one of its first trips for Canadian National.
