     With the upcoming release of the Viewliner® II Baggage Cars, Kato USA is taking this opportunity to do one last re-release of the Amtrak® Heritage Baggage Car. Like Amtrak who is phasing out these cars, so too will Kato USA be phasing them out with this marking the final production of these cars – a last hurrah for this ex-Santa Fe equipment.

     Kato’s Amfleet II cars feature smooth-rolling inside bearing trucks that maintain accuracy without sacrificing function. The Carbodies of both the Viewliners and the Amfleet cars are meticulously recreated with crisply molded fluting down the sides and the distinct shape of each car.
