4449 Michigan Odyssey Volume IV follows Southern Pacific 4449 on the final leg of her return trip from Michigan. Watch the locomotive depart west out of Havre, Montana, run along the Hi-Line, and cross over the Continental Divide at Marias Pass. From Whitefish, the Daylight Special travels through Flathead Tunnel and Idaho’s Panhandle to Spokane, WA. Then SP449 crests Providence Hill and steams along the scenic Columbia River to Brooklyn Roundhouse in Portland, Oregon
