3 Bay ACF Center Flow? Covered Hopper, w/ Round Hatches

This 3-bay ACF Center Flow? covered hopper with round hatches and Barber? roller bearing trucks was built in September 1972 by American Car and Foundry. It was painted orange with a white diagonal center area. The white area is framed with black. The main lettering is also black. Being a Canadian car, the dimensional data is in both English and French. DuPont sold the Sclair polyethylene business, along with these 4,650 cu ft, 159,000 lb capacity hopper cars, to Nova Chemicals. Today, there are 120 of these hoppers operating in North America.
