This 50’ box car with single Youngstown door is painted gray with maroon ‘Broken E Diamond’ logo and lettering. It was built in 1956 by American Car & Foundry, serviced in 1961 and runs on roller bearing trucks. It was originally built as part of DL&W series 12000-12074 in 1956 then renumbered after the 1960 merger of the Erie Railroad & the Detroit, Lackawanna & Western Railroad. It later became part of the Erie Lackawanna series 66250-66276.
