This 50’ 15 panel steel side gondola with fixed ends and low cover is painted Mineral Red with white herald, white ‘Great Northern’ and lettering. It was built in August 1957 by Pullman-Standard, serviced in August 1980, and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Originally part of the 200-car series 72800-72999, it was one of 25 cars that were renumbered into the series 73800-73824 between 1960 and 1964. They were fitted to wear removeable covers and put into steel service.
