This 50’ box car with plug door is painted green with logo, ‘Newsprint Service Only’ shield, and lettering all in white. It was built in January 1965 by Hawker Siddeley Canada Lmtd., Trenton, Nova Scotia, serviced in May 1988, andruns on Roller Bearing trucks. Cars of this series were built and delivered to the CP in brown with the Canadian Pacific ‘script’ logo. In July of 1968 the Multimark symbol with the Action Green became the designated color for the box cars ofthe newsprint fleet. Twenty years later, the Multimark was dropped and the color scheme remained.
