** Delta Lines was the O scale (outside third rail) free-lance system of Frank Ellison (1887-1964), the father of model railroading as we know it today. He was a prolific author but is probably best known for his six-part series, "The Art of Model Railroading" that originally appeared in Model Railroader in 1944.
