This wood sheathed ice reefer is one of 12 cars built by General American in July 1925 for Quaker City. It was then leased to the Louisville Provision Company (LPCX). L.P.C.X. 207 is painted brown. The sides painted reefer yellow on the upper part, with black lettering and painted red with white lettering on the lower portion. It has a modern underframe and was painted for the “Southern Star” meat products.

Beginning this May, Micro-Trains will launch its newest series in both N and Z scale featuring prototypically accurate meat packer refrigerator car schemes never before done by Micro-Trains! This 12 month series will consist of 12 unique, colorful and interesting reefers, and will not include a locomotive or caboose.
