This bright UP yellow and gray locomotive with red stripe and "Union Pacific" lettering with red, white and blue UP shields would be hard to miss running the rails of the West on black F-7 conversion trucks. UP 753 was one of 22 GP35s built by EMD for the Union Pacific in 1964. This was the second paint scheme worn by this locomotive, which was retired in January of 1983. It changed ownership several times before being rebuilt by EMD for Burlington Northern as GP39E 2930 on October 17, 1989.
