This 65’ 100-Ton Log Car is painted green with white lettering and ride on 100-Ton Trucks with 36” wheels. The car was built by Evans Car Company in the 1980’s and found service with many companies transporting logs, pulpwood and other lumber products. Georgia-Pacific originally used horse drawn carriages in the 1920’s to transport logs, but with the use of log cars like these, has grown to be a leader in the production of tissue, pulp, paper, packaging and other building products.
