In 1975 Bombardier teamed with Toronto's GO Transit to design a bi-level commuter coach capable of carrying 130 passengers. These cars proved to be so popular that they are currently in operation in Toronto (Ontario), Miami, Southern California, San Diego, Vancouver (BC), Altamont (California), Seattle, Dallas and 2 sets have been leased to Virgina Railway Express.
