This July Micro-Trains will begin its newest freight car series; the Z scale Oil Tank Car Series! This exciting new Z scale series will feature 12 prototypically accurate and unique single dome oil tank cars. The series will not include a locomotive or caboose. The first release will feature the Cities Service Refining Co. tank car. Modelers who wish to obtain ANY of the cars in this series MUST reserve them by the reservation due date, NO extras will be made.

This 39’ dome tank car is painted black with white lettering and runs on Archbar trucks. Kansas Oil Refining Company, a regional oil refinery and petroleum products distributor, began operation in Caney, Kansas in 1909.
