This summer, SoundTraxx will introduce the CurrentKeeper, which provides smooth, interruption-free operation during power interruptions.

By providing power to the locomotive’s Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder for up to 10 seconds, the CurrentKeeper maintains the sounds, lights, and motor through momentary power lapses. This power accessory is ideal for not-so-perfect track and locomotives that lack multiple rail pickups.

At 40 mm x 6 mm x 11 mm, the CurrentKeeper fits many HO-scale models. It is designed to replace the factory-installed capacitor on the following SoundTraxx Tsunami® Digital Sound Decoders: TSU-1000, TSU-750, and TSU-AT1000. The CurrentKeeper also will work with other DCC decoders that have a universal-style board format.
