Searchlight Signals have long been an icon of American railroading.  For over a century, Searchlights have governed miles upon miles of rail lines all over the US.  Arguably the most famous signal design - the Union Switch and Signal H-2 - has served class 1 railroads in all corners of the country, and continues to do so today.

The prototype for this signal is based on drawings by the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, in 1945.  Perfect for installations between two tracks, this signal features heads in-line with the supporting mast. 

Model Description:

With the introduction of our popular modern signal line, we went back to the drawing boards to produce the finest Searchlights EVER offered in HO Scale.  While other models use a bi-color LED in an oversized head, our H2 Searchlights feature THREE SEPARATE LED's per head - yielding true and vibrant Red, Yellow, and Green aspects!  Finally, a TRUE YELLOW!  Furthermore, this design simplifies installation.

Take a closer look at these signals and you'll notice even more detail...  On the back of the head and the side of the base cabinet, you'll notice scale writing that says "US&S Co", "Swissvale PA" and more!  Accurate dimensions, rivet detail, scale thickness 'hoods', and much, much more.
