This 33’ twin bay hopper with offset sides is painted black with white lettering and run on Roller Bearing trucks. 1948 MoPac began to apply the “Route of the Eagles slogan to the sides of the hoppers being built out of the DeSoto shops. It became standardized by 1949. The application of the slogan to all new freight equipment was the standard scheme until being discontinued by the late 1960’s.
