After major mergers with Southern Pacific and Denver & Rio Grande Western, Union Pacific announced plans of downsizing and budget cuts. One disgruntled employee found a way to send this political statement across the nation. This graffiti car was discovered in the yards at Colton, California, August 2002, photographed and sent to us here at Pacific Western Rail Systems to become #6 in a series of Mystery Cars.
