In 1985 Micro-Trains released its first Z scale freight car. In celebration of 30 years of making Z scale rolling stock, Micro-Trains has produced this 40’ Standard Box Car which proudly displays the MTL and Magne-Matic logos and the ‘Route of the Magne-Matics’ slogan. To-date, Micro-Trains has offered 34 Z scale body styles with over 130 road names and hundreds of paint schemes. After 30 years, the ‘Route of the Magne-Matics’ is still going strong!
