Belt Railway Of Chicago 3-Bay Offset Side Hoppers. The BRC was established in 1882 to serve as a neutral terminal railroad connecting all of Chicago’s line-haul railroads and several shortlines. Their Clearing Yard was the largest freight yard in the world when completed in 1902. In addition to the transfer runs and yard switching, BRC has always had a large number of on line customer spurs to serve (even today they have about a hundred!) This group of hoppers was delivered to BRC in 1948 and 1949. This run will be available in 3 road numbers.
