Canadian Pacific – as delivered 3-Bay Offset Side Hoppers. Canadian Pacific relied heavily on this style of hopper. Although they followed the AAR standard design in most every other respect, the lion’s share of CP’s cars had the center hopper bay reversed so the hopper doors faced the B-end of the car. For the first time, we are replicating this unusual feature on our cars. This paint scheme featuring the 9” lettering was the standard until the adoption of the script style lettering in 1963. However cars in this paint scheme were still routinely seen through the 1980s. This run will be available in 6 road numbers.
