Ontario Northland 3-Bay Offset Side Hoppers. ONT received this batch of hoppers in 1941. Like most of the Canadian Pacific cars of this design, these cars featured the center hopper bay flipped to face the B-end of the car. We will be replicating this detail on our N scale run. For a number of years, these hopper were assigned to move iron ore from the Dane, Ontario area to steel mills in the United States. Hoppers from Ontario Northland, Canadian National, Canada Southern, New York Central, Pittsburgh & Lake Erie and Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo were used in this operating pool (with this release, hoppers from all six of these roads will have been produced in N scale by Bluford Shops, so modeling this interesting train is possible.) Aside from the iron traffic, these cars were also used for coal and gravel traffic during their lives. This run will be available in 3 road numbers.
