When the Channel Tunnel was completed, connecting the UK to the rest of Europe in 1994, the “Eurostar” made its debut as an international high speed train. The Eurostar, traveling at a maximum speed of 300 km/hr between London and Paris, traveled in 3 hours at the maximum speed of 300 km/hr made the trip between London and Paris in a short three hours, and in 2 hours and 40 minutes could make the trip between London and Brussel. The full train consists of 20 cars including the streamlined end cars. It is characterized by its light body color of white and yellow. With a new high speed track opened in 2007 in UK, the train was further sped up, shortening the travel time between Paris and London to 2 hours and 15 minutes and Brussels to London to 1 hour and 51 minutes, a time that rivals airplanes!

Previously the Eurostar sets were released exclusively for sale and distribution in Europe – this will be the first time that they have been offered for sale and distribution in Japan and North America!
