When North American Railcar Corporation introduced our MagnaLock Brake Lines, the response was overwhelming positive. Modelers had been looking for something like them for years. And while our first generation MagnaLocks are fully functional and look great, our experience and feedback from modelers has led to the development of our second generation MagnaLocks with improved features and more realistic appearance.

This is the starter kit and contains the gluing jig and ten pairs of North American Railcar Corporation HO Scale Second Generation Improved MagnaLock Air Lines for conversion of existing locomotives and rolling stock. Each conversion requires one pair.

• Can be retrofitted to virtually any car or locomotive, regardless of manufacturer and are fully compatible with our first generation MangaLock Brake Lines
• Compatible with Kadee and other popular couplers
• Hoses made of rubber for authentic appearance and flexibility
• Hands-free operation - connects and disconnects like the real thing
• Reversible, automatic operation regardless of orientation of car or locomotive
• New pre shaped brass airlines for easier installation
• New custom round magnets look more realistic then the first generation square magnets
• New round magnets have less magnetic attraction for easier  uncoupling
• Magnets are now factory weathered to a gray color
• The second generation brake lines are factory cut to length for quicker installation
• A new gluing jig is included in the basic set for easier installation, additional packages of MagnaLocks are available without the jig to upgrade additional rolling stock and locomotives
