Since the first days of rails in the United States, the U.S.Mail and the railroads have enjoyed a close relationship. At the time railroads provided the fastest, most reliable way of getting the mail through. Anywhere there were rails the mail rode upon them. In honor of the past and present relationship between these two great enterprises, Athearn, Inc. is pleased to announce a recently completed licensing partnership with the United States Postal Service. In the next few months Athearn will be developing scale models themed for the USPS. In this new line there will be accurate scale model of various postal vehicles and rail cars as well as special commemorative collectibles.
