At J. D. Irving, Limited our wood fibre supply for our sawmills, our pulp, tissue, paper and corrugating medium mills, is provided by our Woodlands Division whose mission is to supply the best timber available while sustainably managing our forest resources for the future.

The company owns 3.4 million acres (1.37 million hectares) of timberland in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Maine. It manages approximately 2.8 million acres (1.13 million hectares) of publicly-owned Crown land in the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
