   SoundTraxx sound decoders are designed to easily add sound and digital operation to your locomotives.  With several different circuit board designs available, these dual-mode (DC analog and Digital) decoders can be installed into many popular DCC Ready locomotives or as an upgrade to DCC and Sound-Equipped locomotive models on the market today.  These decoders are also able to spruce up that classic pre-DCC super-detailed locomotive you completed years ago.  Whether the locomotive is DC (analog) only, DCC ready or sound-equipped, SoundTraxx decoders can provide a sound decoder option that is right for the job.
   Multiple selections of sounds are pre-loaded into the decoders to allow quick and easy customizing; these selections allow you to match the model that the decoder is installed into,without any complicated or lengthy download processes. With the ease of matching the sound to your model, you’ll get more time at the throttle!
    The Econami Steam decoder is preloaded with 4 exhaust chuffs, 16 whistles, 7 bells (with multiple ring rates), multiple air compressors, dynamos, couplers, and more!  Econami Diesel decoders are loaded with 5 prime movers, 16 horns, 7 bells (with multiple ring rates), multiple compressors, couplers, and more!   Econami Electric decoders are equipped to reproduce a variety of sounds, from a heavy electric locomotive all the way down to a trolley or streetcar, with 16 horns, selectable bells, couplers, and more!

ECO-100 - The smallest sound decoder, this micro 1-amp, universal-style format is ideal for small models with minimal space. It includes an optional capacitor or can be wired to a CurrentKeeper (P.N. 810140) to maintain performance during brief power interruptions.
