Chesapeake & Ohio picked up this group of hoppers secondhand from Helm Leasing (they had originally been in the fleets of Pittsburgh & Lake Erie and Erie Lackawanna.) Because these cars had relatively narrow panels between the ribs, Chessie made smaller stencils to fit the logo over a pair of panels. This run consists of six new road numbers in this popular road name.
