After WWII, dieselization began in earnest, and EMDs switchers dominated the market. EMD built 888 of their NW2 model. Each was equipped with a 1,000 HP, V12 567-A engine. Broadway Limited Imports has modeled the NW2 Phase V in a variety of road names that are described below. These models are accurate HO scale replicas of the real NW2s.
