This 7 car, prototypical Baby Ruth freight cars from the 1920s and early 30s includes the entire series of Baby Ruth freight cars and will consist of six colorful billboard reefers and one tank car, all displaying elaborate ads for Baby Ruth which was owned then by Curtiss Candy Company.

(Baby Ruth was acquired by Nabisco in 1981 and Nabisco sold the Curtiss brands to Nestlé in 1990.)

N scale reefers were released in 36’ or 40’ lengths with proper fishbelly or truss-rod underframes according to the original reefer.  This 40’ Wood-Sheathed Reefer is painted brown with yellow sides and run on Bettendorf trucks. This colorful billboard scheme painted by Curtiss Candy Company promoted their Baby Ruth Gum and Baby Ruth Candy brands.
