Our kit is a reproduction of a CNR prototype.

Our kit features scale chain and custom designed and 3D printed parts such as the water level indicator staff parts and sway pipe frame details.

The sway pipe is positionable and can be made operational with some creativity. Windows and doors are laser cut and are also accurate.

Laser cut shingles are provided for the roof. These kits are very detailed but relatively simple to assemble.

A 15 page comprehensive construction manual with 30+ photos comes with each kit.

Monashee Laser Engineering (MLE) is a Canadian manufacturer of fine scale model railroad structure and rolling stock kits. Our goal is to provide a quality kit that can be assembled by the average modeller and achieve superior results.

A considerable amount of time and research has gone into the design of each of our kits. They are prepared using graphic design software from photos, plans and drawings and are an accurate or slightly modified representation of an actual prototype. Where a prototype does not exist, designs are based on typical design practices for the period.
