These 60’ bulkhead flat cars are red with white lettering and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built by Thrall for Burlington Northern in 1975, this bulkhead flat was obtained by BNSF in the merger of 1995, and repainted. With a 263,000-pound gross rail load, it is often used in the shipment of structural commodities such as steel pipes.
