Kato will manufacture an N scale model of the TAKI 1000 fuel freight cars dedicated for transporting jet fuel to the Yokota Air Base for the U.S. Armed Forces in Japan. This train originally operated through the Nambu line until it changed to the Musashino freight line between Shitte and Fuchuhommachi for high speed transport. It is featured with the “JP-8” sticker on each side, indicating it is carrying jet fuel used by the United States Air Force. The train currently operates twice a week.
