Tobu 50070 is manufactured similar to the Tobu Tojo 5000, for surface operation, and the 50050 of Sky Tree (Isezaki) Line for subway operation. This adopts the next generation of aluminum train systems, the “A-train,” developed by the manufacturer, Hitachi Seisakusho. The Tobu Tojo Line 50070 debuted in 2004
with a smooth aluminum body, shiny orange block patterns on the sides, and a simple and clear-cut cab design. The train is entirely new from the previous designs. Even after 10 years since its debut, the charm of the train still remains today.
