Dear N Scale Customers:

Kato produced a model in N scale of the Series 883 “Sonic” Renewed (3rd Model) which enjoys good reputation in Kyushu. The prototype of the scale model is a train consisting of all of stainless-steel body cars.

 
The train made the debut in 1995 as the first limited express train of JR Kyushu equipped with the pendulum mechanism. After remodeling a few times, it has been continuously operated to date. It is characterized by the dark metallic blue body symbolizing the east coast of Kyushu.

Features

• The scale model represents sharp and modern body design with fine lettering on the metallic blue color scheme.
• It employs Pendulum system just like the prototype so that the train tilts toward inside of curves
• 2 Smooth sided Aluminum Cars are connected in the middle of stainless steel cars with corrugated patterns on the sides.
