This 50 ft steel side, 14 panel fixed end gondola is painted black with yellow lettering.  The large “Triple Lightning” herald is indicative of the businesses in which the Ontario Northland is engaged:  Railroad and telecommunications, a natural outgrowth of the telegraph lines that were strung along the railroad’s right-of-way, carrying CBC radio and video into the far North.
