These 50 ft rib side box cars with plug door and no roofwalk are red with white lettering and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built in late 1969 by Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe, these Bx-137 series boxcars were two of 433 built in a two-year period. They are an insulated boxcar with Santa Fe’s “Super Shock Control” underframe cushioning, and also feature load dividers and sidewall fillers.
