This 70 ton PS-2 2-Bay covered hopper is painted light gray with lettering in black and white as wells as the black and white circle/cross logo. This hopper was built in November 1957 by American Car & Foundry. It runs on roller bearing trucks. The principle commodities handled by hoppers of this type are cement, sand, potash, as well as a number of caustic materials. For this, the hopper was designed to withstand their effects and keep maintenance at a minimum.
