● The real train appeared as a limited express “Tsubame” in July, 1992. Ever since it experienced various operations and renewal of the interiors and exteriors. It is still now operated as a main train of the JR Kyushu conventional limited express. Upon its debut, it was deployed first to Kagoshima Operation Center and travelled between Moji port, Hakata and Nishikagoshima (the current Kagoshima Chuo). In 1994, the train was altered to consist of 9 cars with the buffet car SAHASHI 787 changed from car No. 3 to 5.

① Round toilet tank under floor of end of cars with lavatories are reproduced.

② The head/taillights turn on. The headlights are reproduced in bulb color LED in addition to the light cover.

③ Stickers are supplied with the product showing “Tsubame”, “Dream Tsubame” and “Ariake”.

④ Handrails are reproduced as separate parts under the front cab windows.
