High-Quality Metal Forming Pliers For Makers

Our high-quality, non-marring, Nylon-Head Metal Forming Pliers are perfect for forming and contouring brass, copper and precious metal wire and metal strip stock without marring the material. Made of stainless steel, these pliers feature box-joint construction, leaf spring return and medium density foam handles which provide superior comfort and ergonomics compared to pliers with PVC-coated handles. Also, the nylon heads can be customized to your own design, if desired, by carving and shaping the existing head shape to your own specifications. Each plier includes an additional head for this purpose, or, to use as a replacement if the original head becomes damaged. Pliers are 5-3/4" long.

Medium U-Shape Nylon-Head Metal Forming Plier makes angular bends from 1 degree to 90 degrees; also forms rings and curves when light bends are made at close intervals. Head is 1-1/8" with a 1/2" wide x 9/32" deep V notch.
