Owners of the DCS Digital Command System can now control their model railroad from any iOS or Android phone or tablet by simply connecting the DCS WiFi Interface Unit to the DCS TIU Track Interface Unit. The convenience of operating a model railroad with the same device you use throughout your daily life completely changes the DCS operating experience.

The large, bright full-color screens found on today’s smart phones and tablets are superior to the 4-line gray-scale screen found on the DCS Remote Handheld Controller and make accessing the DCS features found inside your Proto-Sound 2.0 and 3.0 locomotives much, much easier. Better yet, the expanded range and speed of wifi allows your trains to respond to DCS commands faster and more reliably than ever before.

The DCS WiFi Module plugs into any DCS Track Interface Unit (TIU) and provides the user with wifi control over the layout when used with the M.T.H. DCS Mobile App. Setup is simple and quick. The module does not require a home wifi setup to function because the WIU broadcasts its own wifi signal. Sim­ply connect your smart device to that signal as you would when connecting to any other wifi source and you’re off and running. If desired, the WIU can also be easily incorporated into a home wifi network.
