“Glacier Express” is an international sightseeing train, one of the icons for Switzerland which is familiar to many people in the world.
It is very popular as it runs through the European Alps in the southeast part of Switzerland from Zermatt to St. Moritz over two companies' railways "Rhaetishe Bahn" and "Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn" very slowly, spending 8 hours, so that the passengers can enjoy to the full looking at the magnificent Alpine landscape from the panoramic view windows.

Alpine Loco. Ge4/4 Ⅲ ”UNESCO”
Locomotive Ge4/4-III is capable to draw a 210 ton train at 50 km/h on a 25 ‰ slope in adhesion method and used to pull such international sightseeing trains as Glacier Express and other passenger trains of RhB. Among the locomotives Ge4/4-III, Locomotive No. 160 is a special vehicle with the design of famous Landwasser stone viaduct painted on the blue background in the movement aiming at the designation as an Unesco world heritage.

Features
① This is a prototype of the current version, with the addition of square lights and jumper plugs on the front.
② No.618 features a large painted RhB logo. The nickname, symbol, and company name on the side of the vehicle are also accurately reproduced.
③ No. 631 is a beautiful reproduction of the characteristic bright red body that is so familiar to Rhb.
④ The curved body design and large windows are accurately reproduced.
⑤ Details such as the air intake louvers on the roof, resistors, and the large snow plow are also reproduced.
⑥ The jumper plugs on the front of the vehicle are included.
⑦ It is capable of towing 12 passenger cars of the Rhb on a 4% gradient.
⑧ DCC can be supported by replacing the light board.
⑨ Short couplers for the Glacier Express are standard equipment. Replacement Arnold couplers included.
⑩ All three headlights are lit(light bulb color).
⑪ Minimum turning radius: R150
