The closest local line Ryutetsu (formerly Sobu Ryutetsu Electric Railway) Ryutetsu Line is a 5.7km line connecting Mabashi Station and Nagareyama Station in Chiba Prefecture. As a "townsman railway" established for the local community by local volunteers, it has been popular as a foothold for the region for over 100 years from the Taisho era to the present day.

 
The 5000 series currently in operation is a colorful 2-car train with a different nickname and paint color for each train, with a total of 5 trains appearing in sequence from 2010 after remodeling the new 101 series inherited from Seibu Railway. ..
