This is a scale model of a resort train which started the service in 2010 on the railroad Nagano – Matsumoto – Minamiotari. It is a hybrid engine train in a paint scheme of green with gradated white, which symbolizes the forests with white birches, the highland prefecture, Nagano’s representative tree.

The train enjoys popularity, put in service as “Night View Ubasute” at night time from April to September as well as for rapid trains as “Resort View Yatsugatake” and “Resort View Koumi”. It is also operated as “Resort Iyama” on Iyama line to enjoy the pastoral landscape along the railroad.

Furnishing the train with separately sold figures and lighting sets will enhance the atmosphere of a sightseeing train. A short train consisting of just two cars looks attractive and is very handy to run on small space track plan and diorama.
