Kato will make an N-scale model of Freight Car WAKI 50000 which used to be in service along with KOKI 50000 between Tokyo and Kyushu. When the timetable was revised in October 1978, the main transport power of high-speed freight cars changed over from KOKI10000 to KOKI 50000. WAKI 50000 was developed as a covered freight car connectable with KOKI 50000.

This was a freight car converted on the basis of WAKI 10000. It appeared one after another from 1977 to 1980 to carry parcels mostly.

This is one of the most suitable models to reproduce freight trains at the time of JR. Please enjoy running former high-speed freight trains in combination with #3047-3 EF66 early, planned for simultaneous release, along with KOKI 50000 and KOKIFU 50000.
