● Item Introduction
The E657 series debuted in 2011 as a flagship limited express multi-system electric locomotive for the Joban Line. In 2023, for the Ibaraki Destination Campaign, the E657 series was given a paint scheme inspired by the classic E653 series "Fresh Hitachi." This has attracted attention from both local residents and many railway enthusiasts. The actual train consists of five different color schemes, and KATO will commercialize the K12 trainset with the red paint scheme as part of their second lineup.
◆ It's an excellent addition for collectors, whether running alongside other JR East trains or as part of the ongoing five-color lineup.

- Gray color for underfloor equipment, bogies, body dampers, and dummy couplers on the lead cars.
- Adoption of green-tinted glass for the front and side windows, similar to theactual vehicle.
