    This 50' rib side box car with plug door and no roofwalk is painted box car red with white lettering and sports the C&EI herald in white. Running on black roller bearing trucks, C&EI 252825 was built in 1972, serviced in 1976 and continued to run into the 1980s. Headquartered in Chicago and running lines as far south as Evansville, Indiana and as far west as St. Louis, Missouri. The Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad ran from 1877 to 1976 when it merged with Missouri Pacific.
