● A reproduction of the popular train of the Tōkaidō and Sanyō Shinkansen, the 923 Series 3000 Subtype "Doctor Yellow". The 923 Series 3000 Subtype T5 Formation, commonly known as "Doctor Yellow," is a Shinkansen electric track testing vehicle that collects fundamental data for track maintenance on the Tōkaidō and Sanyō Shinkansen lines. It is characterized by its yellow appearance and is highly popular among Shinkansen enthusiasts, children, and tourists alike. It is scheduled to retire around 2027.

① The 3000 Series T5 formation, belonging to JR West, is used as the prototype, it accurately captures and reproduces the details that differ from the T4 formation belonging to JR Central (e.g. the antenna on car 7, the jack-up holes, roof color, etc.)

② ‘Inspection floodlights' installed near the pantographs of cars 2 and 6, headlights and taillights of the lead car are made with two-tone headlights of different color tones

Couplers:

Uses an easy-to-handle, restored-type hollow coupler (KATO diaphragm coupler), similar to the E5 Series 'Hayabusa‘

Features the observation domes on the roof and the inspection equipment unique to "Doctor Yellow"
