A high-grade all-green car that operates on special trains.
● The JR East E655 Series Nagomi (Japanese Style) debuted in October 2007 and consists of high-grade all-green cars. The color of the body changes from purple to brown depending on how light hits it, giving it an appearance that is both calm and elegant, yet vibrant. They are exclusively used for imperial train services or for state guests.
◆ The new product will adopt a slotless motor for power. As a result, the item number, price, and JAN code for the 5-car set will be changed. There are no other changes in specifications compared to the previous product.

- A special car used as a special train for the Imperial family. It is a modern train that replaces the No. 1 Imperial Train.
- The sharp and solid appearance with a strong presence is reproduced with the body color of the Majola paint that changes color depending on the light.
- The "chrysanthemum crest" on the side of the car body and the three elegant gold lines are also vividly expressed. The high-quality style is accurately modeled.
- The sofa in the interior (special room) is made of a separate blue part. The presence unique to special cars is reproduced, such as the model name on the end.
- The coupler is equipped with a body-mounted KATO close-coupled coupler as standard. It can be coupled with the E655 series Nagomi, E257 series, and E657 series.
- Decorations and equipment applied to the E655 series leading car when operating the Imperial Train are included. It creates an appearance suitable for an Imperial Train. The leading car crest, Hinomaru flag, coupler cover, step, and front handrail are exclusive to the leading car. (It can be installed either front or rear depending on driving.)
- Packaging is a standard clear case.
